A chromogenic print on Kodak Supra Endura smooth matte paper called “Mary’s Lake, MT 9” by artist Matthew Brandt. A photograph of a lake reflecting the clear sky above has been abstracted by the artist’s process, which involved soaking the print in water from the body of water shown in the image. Soaking the print in water caused the partial destruction of the image layers, resulting in a warped, colorful swirls of acid yellow, chili red, sky blue, vivid violet, and greenish grey.
