Leo Villareal, Big Bang

A multimedia artwork by Leo Villareal made out of 1,600 colored LED lights, a Mac mini, microcontroller, custom electronics, and anodized aluminum. The piece, called “Big Bang”, is a black circular sculpture mounted on a white wall. The circle is adorned with a mandala-like pattern of hundreds of tiny LED lights in many shades of orange, pink, red, and blue.
