SFMOMA install 2016

An installation view of the full-frame version of Shirin Neshat’s Passage, 2001, at SFMOMA. In a room with dark walls and floor, a wooden bench faces a projection of the film, which lights the room. On the screen, one can see the back of a young girl who looks out over a line of fire that stretches away toward the horizon.
