The Case of the Vanishing Videotape

Illustration accompanying Amy Greenfield’s 1981 article “The Case of the Vanishing Videotape”. The drawing shows a young woman, rendered in cartoonish pointillist style and sepia tones, from the chest up, who leans forward and holds a magnifying glass up to her proper right eye. Her left eye is shut, and her mouth is partially open. She has shoulder-length black hair with bangs and wears a t-shirt with fish-like shapes on it. Across the bottom of the image, black text reads “The Case of the Vanishing Videotape”.
