An installation photo of “My Madinah: In pursuit of my hermitage…” by artist Jason Rhoades. In a dimly lit room, numerous colorful neon lights, formed into words, hang from the ceiling, their wires and electrical boxes clearly visible. Each neon word is rendered in its own color, from orange to blue to pink. Some are legible and others are not, and say things like “Middle piece”, “Rink Brownie Cake,” and “Horn of plenty”.
