Mr. Press

A photograph of a sculpture by artist John Chamberlain titled “Mr. Press,” from 1961. The sculpture, which is mounted on a white wall, is made of crushed automobile parts, paint, and fabric that have been bent and assembled to resemble some kind of machine, or a flower. Some of the metal is cream, while other parts are cherry red, dandelion yellow, or sky blue.
